Your organisational skills will help us make a difference for customers.

You’ll play an important role in keeping things running smoothly at Sainsbury’s. Taking on a range of vital admin and clerical duties, you’ll make sure everything happens in an organised and efficient way.

Helping to keep a department on track, you’ll maintain all kinds of systems and procedures. But you won’t spend all your time at a desk. You might get out and about on the shop floor to complete your tasks. Along the way, you’ll answer customers’ questions and help them get the best from their shopping experience. Of course, you’ll deal with enquiries from colleagues, too.

And when there’s a problem that needs solving, you’ll be ready to work with managers to get it sorted. That’s because you care deeply about doing the right thing. Which is what will enable us to keep on giving customers and colleagues the great service they deserve.

The role

  • Assist with the smooth running of a busy department
  • Carry out a range of admin and clerical tasks
  • Work behind the scenes and on the shop floor
  • Provide great customer service
  • Answer enquiries helpfully and courteously
  • Support colleagues in other areas when required

Your experience and skills

  • Administrative or retail experience will be a big advantage, but is not vital
  • Knowledge of relevant systems
  • Good team player and communicator
  • Highly organised, with good planning skills
  • Pride in working to the highest standards
  • Passion for exceeding customers’ expectations
