Engineering Manager Jobs Vacancy at Sodexo London Jobs Details:
To formulate, develop and implement systems that will ensure plant is maintained and operated to its optimum efficiency
Responsible for reviewing on-going performance levels from data/reports produced by the Facilities management monitoring/quality assurance system
Initiating appropriate actions to ensure agreed performance standards are maintained including if necessary producing and implementing service improvement plans
Ensure compliance and provide assurance via statutory documentation ensuring that the documentation is available for inspection or audit when required.
Flexible with the ability to work under pressure whilst looking for continual improvements to service delivery
Investigate and review all accidents and near misses
Ensure regular workplace inspections are competed and follow actions have been assigned an owner and tracked to completion
Assist the technical planner by advising of any PPM’s that are outstanding and will affect the performance of the building or client reports, to ensure zero failure
Prioritise PPM’s to ensure all works are completed on schedule and relevant paperwork is completed to a constant high standard
§ Ensure all PPM resultant tasks are raised for defects, tracked & completed in timely manner
Ensure 0% failure on reactive tasks by clearing tasks from planon or intelligently extending
Manage the staffing levels of the hard services team to ensure the most productive use of the hard services team.
Deputise for the Technical Services Manager in times of absence
Be able to pass on clear instruction, both written and verbal.
To work with other members of the wide Real Estate Facilities Management team, to provide great customer service
Be responsive to the need to work extended hours & also weekends when requested.
Demonstrate a willing and positive manner and to lead by example at all times.
Manage annual leave planning in line with the site policy ensuring zero impact on operations.
Ensure the hard services team work efficiently and safely to complete PPM’s and reactive tasks to resolve all client issues within the agreed SLA’s
The Ideal Candidate
HND or NVQ or equivalent in a relevant subject
Preferably 10 years (minimum of 5 years) experience in building services and plant engineering, 5 years as a maintenance craftsman preferably within an engineering role
Previous experience of Working as an authorised person
Excellent communications both written and verbal.
Numerate and computer literate
High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels and disciplines within the estate
Proven experience of managing employees within a service environment and maximising the performance of their team
Fully aware of relevant health and safety and general legislative matters
An appreciation of risk assessment techniques as applied to estates activity
Experience in budgetary control of pay and non-pay expenditure
