Business Development Manager / BDM
£60,000 to £70,000 base salary + 10% bonus + £5,000 car allowance + pension + healthcare + life assurance + income protection
Our client is a brand-new state of the art private hospital who is part of a highly reputable hospital group with a network that stretches throughout the UK. The hospital has over 70 beds, 6 operating theatres and a critical care unit.
The Business Development Manager will report to the Hospital Director and form part of the Senior Management Team at this prestigious private hospital facility. You will be responsible for driving growth in hospital activity and revenue by implementing and delivering a robust business development strategy.
Managing an established team who support the development of GP and Consultant Surgeon relationships and local marketing initiatives.
Devising and implementing a targeted account and relationship management programme to increase GP and Consultant referrals.
Researching, developing and launching profitable new services as part of an ongoing business expansion programme.
Working closely with the central sales and marketing team to develop sales collateral and digital marketing (including website content) ensuring the information is regularly updated with relevant and innovative content.
Performance managing the local sales enquiry function, ensuring high levels of sales through services and conversion rates.
Drive services to develop the local self-pay market, implementing sales initiatives and profitable pricing levels.
Have a proven track record with managing a sales team and be accustomed to achieving KPI's within a competitive market place.
Have experience in healthcare, either within an acute, medical device, pharmaceutical or allied healthcare business.
Be a credible business developer, account manager and strong negotiator.
