RE Teacher Required ASAP
£120 - £145 per day
Maternity cover from January 2018
Part time - Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
An exciting position has recently become available at a secondary school located in Derby. This RE Teacher post requires a progressive and talented individual with QTS or who is a NQT and is ready and excited to start making an impact in a new environment.
The successful candidate must be capable of delivering high-quality RE lessons at secondary level and specialist knowledge in geography and history would be an advantage.
This post requires a determined REy Teacher who can demonstrate a first class understanding of the national curriculum. The school is hoping for a teacher who is able to keep all their pupils engaged in the lesson, provide different methods of learning to suit all abilities, have a proven track record of teaching through to GCSE level and is able to manage pupil behaviour effectively.
The ideal candidate will:
Have up to date knowledge of teaching techniques and learning styles, especially in main subject specialism
Actively keep up to date with subject knowledge
Take into account any relevant curriculum developments in other related areas
Have up to date knowledge and implements national strategies and the colleges professional development of teachers
