The Admissions Office forms part of the Academic Services department. It
provides a proactive, efficient and effective professional
customer-focused service to both undergraduate and postgraduate
applicants to the University, from application through to enrolment.
We are seeking to recruit an Assistant within the Admissions team. Reporting to the Manager you will be responsible for supporting the Admissions Officers in the day-to-day running of all aspects of the undergraduate and postgraduate admissions processing function.
Including assessment and offer making ensuring the delivery of a high quality, quick, effective and friendly service to the Universitys applicants.
Additionally you will assist with the Universitys clearing operation and the timely set-up of an effective clearing service. You will also contribute to the positive experience and successful outcomes for students providing advice and guidance on application and admissions aspects of their Student Journey.
You should have excellent communication (written and verbal), be customer focussed with a logical and methodical approach. Additionally you should be highly organised, have an understanding of admissions in the HE environment, excellent IT skills and a can do attitude.
