Aspire Sussex Ltd plans, promotes and delivers vibrant adult education across Sussex, enabling people to achieve their aspirations.
We are currently looking for an additional Curriculum Coordinator to join our Curriculum team based in Burgess Hill, on a part time basis for 15 hours per week.
The role will support the operational activity within the Curriculum Team to ensure timely quality assurance, compliance with external organisations and effective communication across all curriculum areas. The role will be a central point of organising and collating evidence and activity which is crucial to successfully delivering an outstanding adult learning provision in West Sussex.
Under the leadership of the Director of Performance, Quality and Inclusion, the Curriculum Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the timely organisation, coordination and completion of in-house quality procedures that lead to improvement of organisational performance.
The role will require the post holder to use their initiative, organise their own workload, and respond independently to unanticipated problems and situations. Within this role you may be required to work occasional evenings and weekends. You will also be required, on occasions, to work at locations other than your normal place of work to ensure the needs of the business are met.
Applicants will need a good understanding of quality assurance processes and procedures; advanced Excel and Word skills; and proven experience of organising and monitoring large projects. Candidates should have GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent, and be educated to Level 3 or above in an appropriate administrative or business qualification or have equivalent relevant experience.
