An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Wellbeing Team at Livewell Southwest for a Health Improvement Advisor. You will assist in providing a professional, quality and customer-focused health improvement service for Livewell Southwest. We are looking for someone who is passionate about engaging with communities and individuals about improving their lifestyles.
The postholder will collaborate with partners agencies to communicate key public health messages to relevant population groups and communities. The role will require excellent communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. The postholder should enjoy helping people on a one to one basis and engaging with people at events and roadshows.
The ideal candidate should have some experience of community engagement, partnership work and working within the context of public health. We are looking for people who are keen to learn and already possess good computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Excel and Word and working in a public facing environment.
