The Department of Diagnostic Imaging is a multidisciplinary department providing diagnostic radiology for the Royal Marsden Trust comprising CT, MR, ultrasound, mammography, General X-ray and and Interventional radiography (Chelsea only). It is a vibrant and extremely busy department, and we are looking for a capable and organised receptionist /administrator to join our friendly and dynamic team.
As one of clerical team reporting to the Imaging Support Manager at the Sutton branch, the successful candidate will undertake a key role as a first point of contact for our patients. You will need to be an enthusiastic and committed receptionist who has excellent customer care and administration skills with an eye for detail. You will need to have receptionist experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment with excellent IT skills . You will also be able to work independently and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be able to interact with staff and patients in a polite and confident manner, and you will take an ongoing proactive role in improving the service of our prestigious department.
The post holder will work 37.5hrs a week, Monday - Saturday rotation covering extended day working from 8 am - 8 pm Monday - Friday and Saturday 9am -5pm
