To support our family of Celesio businesses in the UK there are over 1,000 colleagues in our support centre with over 150 in Finance. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join our treasury team on a permanent basis.
This is a varied and interesting role that will give someone wider accounting exposure and the opportunity to work in a large and complex business.
You will assist with the management of the funding and cash management of Celesio UK, reporting on cash and planning future cash requirements including:
- Assist in overseeing the cash forecasting and cash pooling requirements
- Ensuring that UK bank facilities are sufficient and not breached
- Administrating all loans within the Celesio group ensuring interest is calculated accurately and paid on time.
- Management of the UK bank account and signatory lists
- Responsible for the ordering of Foreign currency in line with group guidelines and EMIR
- Ensuring compliance to the group treasury guidelines and SOX controls
- Manage contingent liabilities such as guarantees and letters of credit
- Ensure that SAP treasury system is maintained to reflect all loans, guarantees and deposits.
- Assist with the management of the banking relationships for the Celesio UK group
It is essential you have some practical or treasury knowledge combined with solid financial accounting experience.
Advanced excel skills are essential and SAP experience is desirable but not essential.
You will ideally be part qualified or qualified by experience.
You will possess the ability to work as part of team and communicate effectively face to face, on the telephone and via email with both internal and external stakeholders.
This role is based at our Support Centre in Coventry, Walsgrave Triangle, CV2 2TX. We are located just off junction 2 of the M6, easily accessible by car. If using public transport, we are 5.5 miles from Coventry train station, approx. 40 minutes by bus from the station.
