PLANNING OFFICER - DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT
Salary Range: £25,471 - £31,842 per annum

We are looking to appoint a Planning Officer to work as a key member of the Councils development management service providing pre-application advice, dealing with applications and appeals. You will deal with a variety of ‘minor’ and ‘other’ developments and will take ownership of decisions. You will need to have strong analytical, advisory and influencing/negotiation skills in order to be able to advise on, and convince applicants and their professional agents to make significant changes to development schemes in order to secure good sustainable development.
