Admin Assistant/Fundraising Officer

We require an Admin Assistant/Fundraising Officer to start as soon as possible.
The successful applicant will work across the federated schools, working at any of the school locations as required. Flexibility to increase number of days essential as the federation moves forward.

The individual appointed will need to have experience of the following:
• Good organisational skills
• Good experience in Microsoft operating systems
• Maintain accurate records
• Able to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure
• Able to work without supervision
• Good organisational skills
• Knowledge/experience of SIMS is desirable (training will be given)
• Able to work flexible hours to suit the needs of the federation
• Clean driving licence must be able to work at any of the federated school locations
• Ideally will have experience of writing funding proposals

Duties will include:

• To provide support in a wide range of administrative duties for the federation
• To produce a wide range of admin documents to include letters, policies, photocopying, Health and Safety and reports as required
• Attend meetings to take minutes in the absence of the Clerk.
• Monitor and update websites
• Provide admin support for cross school projects
• To maintain filing of confidential records
• To research and prepare funding opportunities including grants, trusts and donors and prepare the required submissions
• To develop and organise a range of fundraising opportunities and events distributed throughout the year
Hours 2 days per week, Term Time Only plus INSET Days
Times will be 8.30 -3.30pm (half hour for lunch) flexibility essential when required.

Salary: Grade 4, Point 14-16
