We are seeking a full-time experienced Personal Assistant to join our friendly team on Ward I5 - Trauma & Orthopaedics to support the Ward Manager and unit.
You will be enthusiastic and motivated, working to a very high standard of accuracy. You will have an exceptional eye for detail and excellent organisational skills. You will be able to demonstrate initiative in planning your own workload in a way that supports the work of the nursing team, providing a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
Excellent communication skills are essential to enable you to respond professionally and with a proactive friendly can-do attitude; you will develop effective relationships with a wide range of staff within a variety of specialties.
Diary management and office work is a part of the role and you will be able to prioritise at very short notice due to constantly changing circumstances and commitments from the nursing team. You will attend meetings where needed for comprehensive minute taking. An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is essential.
You will need to be able to work within the team and independently at times under pressure and support the ward manager with administration and secretarial support.
