An opportunity has arisen for an Office Manager to join the Travelwise Department based at Southampton General Hospital.
The Travelwise Department at Southampton General Hospital is responsible for car parking arrangements for staff, patients and visitors.
You will establish relationships with departments across the Trust, will manage and coordinate the administrative and secretarial functions within the Travelwise Team and provide excellent customer service to patients, relatives/carers, external agencies and to UHS staff members. We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic Office Manager who has the ability to prioritise their own workload, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Experience of working in a busy office environment is essential, along with advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) skills.
This is a full time post (37.5 hours per week).

Getting to Work
Application can be made for parking on site at UHS or through one of the park and ride schemes. This will be based on specific criteria to determine eligibility for site parking as this can be very limited. UHS encourages staff to utilise other green methods of getting to work such as cycling or walking where possible. UHS is well connected through bus services to the city centre and other areas.
