We provide emergency and non-emergency services to the residents of East Surrey, North-East West Sussex, and South Croydon, including the major towns of Crawley, Horsham, Reigate and Redhill; a community of over 535,000 people.
At East Surrey Hospital in Redhill we provide acute and complex services and a range of outpatient, diagnostic services whilst Crawley Hospital and Horsham in West Sussex and Caterham Dene Hospital and Oxted Health Centre in Surrey provide less complex planned services. East Surrey Hospital is also the designated major trauma centre for Gatwick Airport.

Hourly rate with 5% Fringe £8.24p shift pattern 8 days 7-3 Four Days Off (Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday) seven days on 15.00-23.00pm 2 days off Wednesday and Thursday 37.5 hours a week.
Saturday Pay £12.36 & Sunday Pay £16.48
Our Porters provide an invaluable service transporting patients on beds, trolleys and wheelchairs around the hospital site. They are also involved with a wide range of other duties including moving furniture, delivering supplies, disposing of waste and changing medical gases for example oxygen cylinders.
To succeed in this role you will need to be well presented, have excellent communication skills, be flexible and adaptable in your work and demonstrate a genuinely caring approach to others.
Porters work a variety of early and late shifts (averaging 37.5 hours per week) including some weekends. Saturday working attracts a 50% enhancement and Sunday 100% in addition to basic salary.
