This is a fixed term contract for 9 months to cover maternity leave.
Leonard Cheshire is recruiting for a Partnerships Coordinator for the Partnerships Directorate. The department runs a suite of programmes supporting disabled people to improve life skills, to find and keep employment, to become digitally included and with information, advice and guidance.
We are looking for someone with excellent IT and administrative skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with staff at all levels. You will have a good understanding of volunteer management and the organisational impact of volunteering. You must be a confident communicator with exceptional attention to detail.
The workload is varied, using a range of databases, spreadsheets and records. Your recordkeeping must be accurate, including under pressure. The role is sometimes demanding, working to tight deadlines and multi-tasking, so you will need to have proven time management skills and be able to prioritise your work load.
Reporting to the Senior Coordinator and working as part of the Project Support Team, you will provide administrative and coordination support to the Partnerships Directorate, supporting us to grow our business and support disabled people to live, learn and work. Each Coordinator in the team acts as a champion on specific programmes; this role is the lead support for Digital Inclusion and Volunteering programmes.
