OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Based in Leicester, Leicestershire - 3 months Temp to Perm

£10.00 p/h

This dynamic successful engineering business was established 10 years ago and they specialise in the manufacture and installation of electrical control panels. They are currently looking for an excellent office administrator to join their team. The hours for this position are 09:30 - 14:30 Monday to Friday initially but this is likely to increase if the candidate shows a willingness to accept additional responsibilities.

What the role of Office Administrator will include:



  • Answering incoming calls


  • Customer service enquiries


  • Generating quotes


  • Generating spare part orders


  • General clerical duties (hotel / transport bookings)


  • Pricing and figures-based tasks (generating invoices)


  • Knowledge of Excel / Word including formatting spreadsheets


  • Payroll duties in terms of collating staff timesheets and inputting hours


  • General office-based tasks


  • Stationary orders / petty cash


  • Progress chasing


The Office Administrator must possess the following skills & experience to be considered for this role:



  • Ability to learn new skills quickly


  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel


  • Professional telephone manner


  • Driving License (no more than 6 points)
