They are looking for an Assistant QS to join their successful team. Based in their London offices, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is motivated and ambitious to push their skills and career forward within a business where people have the confidence to work independently, be creative, and consistently deliver excellence.
The ideal candidate will have gained some work experience in private practice (or equivalent) following their graduation with a 2.2 or above in a relevant field. You will have the technical and interpersonal skills needed to enable you to assist with the cost management of projects, including: Preparation and Measurement for Estimates and Cost Plans Assisting with Procurement and Tendering of works Assisting with compilation of Contract Documents Preparation of Financial Reports Preparation of Valuations and Final Accounts Benchmarking and Cost Modelling Interface with the clients and design teams
You will be working towards your APC, which we will support via our structured training programme. Working for us, you will gain a wealth of experience across the commercial, residential and arts and heritage sectors.

- Have strong IT skills, including in Excel, Word, Cad-measure and other QS related applications
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Be able to work to deadlines and reporting dates
- Be familiar with different types of contractual arrangements (e.g. traditional, design and build, management contract, etc) and forms of contract (e.g. JCT, NEC, etc)
