Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join Experian. You will be joining our consumer business and working with our Insurance clients. The Insurance business is a strategic initiative in the Consumer business; as such, the role will achieve a high profile and suit an ambitious individual wanting to demonstrate their capabilities As a Product Manager, you will be working very closely with the Insurance consultants supporting product strategy and ownership of the product roadmap. We are looking for a candidate that has had exposure to similar roles and a good understanding of how client insight should influence the development and innovation process Key Responsibilities: Management of budgets, understanding P&L’s and support in meeting revenue targets Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers, to gain market insight Understanding wider market trends and movements, including competitive threats and opportunities Clear definition and communication of product development business requirements Wider channel development for products, including Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and deployment of new data APIs and propositions Product training and support across business areas Leading projects and progressing through full product lifecycle Using influencing skills to highlight key features and benefits of the products Presenting findings clearly and confidently to clients and internal stakeholders Developing and effectively implementing ‘Go to Market’ plans, working cross-functionally to ensure successful execution Effectively support and engage with key stakeholders across the business Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Role Requirements Essential: Experience in a Product Management or Proposition role Proven track record of effective delivery Ability to manage multiple projects and workload prioritization Strong influencing skills and can interface with stakeholders across the business Ability to successfully work under tight project deadlines Self-motivated, team player, action and results orientated Strong leadership, project/time management and problem solving skills Resourceful creative thinker with strong analytical skills Proven experience in Microsoft office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio or similar Desirable: Educated to degree level Working knowledge and experience across Insurance market Knowledge or experience in database technology Understanding of software product development processes, including familiarity with project management concepts Here at Experian, we believe that great work deserves great rewards.
