We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Quality Manager at our site in Barrow in Furness.
As a Senior Quality Manager, you will be responsible for a team of line managers at various level including Quality Mangers, Team Leaders and Inspectors
This role will provide you with the opportunity to be involved with new projects and programmes from the initial concept. You will be working with a number of partners both internally and externally.
responsibilities as a Senior Quality Manager will involve:
Managing the day to day responsibilities of a team of quality professionals, including performance management
Being accountable for the quality plan and quality activities through the early stages of the lifecycle
Defining the inspection and test plan set by contractual requirements
Providing guidance to the programmes, engineering and supporting functions on improvements on quality performance and culture
Supporting quality activities including investigations and audits as required
Ensuring quality deliverables are included as programme reviews
Your skills and qualifications as a Senior Quality Manager :
Previous leadership experience of a multi-hierarchal team
Manufacturing or Heavy Engineering background
Quality tools & techniques
Budgetary control experience
Programme or Project Management experience
Degree or relevant working experience
Charted member or working towards membership
