FTE: Full time working 37 hours per week (1.0 fte)
Duration of Contract: Fixed term contract until July 2018
The University of Hertfordshire Outreach and Widening Participation department are seeking to employ an enthusiastic Outreach Coordinator. The successful candidate will work with target schools across Hertfordshire to raise aspirations and overcome barriers to learning. A wide range of skills, including the ability to engage young people, and develop strong relationships with schools are key to this role.
The Outreach Coordinator will be required to support and assist the team to develop innovative Outreach activities. The role offers the chance for a committed and creative person to work on our existing Beacon programme and develop new outreach activity. Excellent communication skills and experience of working collaboratively will be essential as you will work closely with colleagues, student ambassadors, schools and colleges. You will have significant experience of organising and delivering engaging events, talks and workshops as well as developing resources.
