We now have an exciting opportunity for a Quality, Safety and Environment (QSE) Adviser to work primarily in our Northern region.
The main purpose of this role is t o provide quality, safety and environmental support across the company .
The Main Duties for this role are:
Foster excellent working relationships with our clients and partners with regards QSE
Promote and facilitate best practice within the company
Assist in the maintenance and continued improvement of our integrated management system
Assist and advise on effective risk management
Investigate incidents and recommend actions to prevent recurrence.
Ensure work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures.
Are you the person we are looking for?
We are looking for someone who is engaging and keen to promote QSE within our business. Although a good appreciation of QSE management is a prerequisite, a positive attitude to the development of professional qualifications will also be a key factor in determining the suitable candidate. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator who is flexible and willing to multi task and react to work demands and be strategic with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, experience of risk assessment preparation and report writing. You would also need a NEBOSH construction certificate and be working towards chartered status of IOSH.
Due to the nature of the role a full UK driving license is essential and the successful candidate will be happy to travel throughout the Midlands.
