Currently in Special Measures, the school will shortly be converting to become part of the REAch2 Academy Trust - the largest primary only academy chain in the UK, with the construction of a state of the art building starting next year.
Springfield Primary is looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant . You must have excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills along with the ability to use initiative and have a flexible approach. The post will include dealing with parents, visitors and staff by means of telephone, in person and via email. Provide clerical support, sorting, ensuring attendance registers are collated, deal with admission applications and occasional word processing. Provide financial administration including collating monies and ordering goods. Good knowledge of Microsoft word software packages is essential especially word and excel and the ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines essential.
Applicants should be reliable and enthusiastic with a friendly and approachable manner. Excellent communication skills and a working knowledge of IT applications are required for this role. A* - C in GCSE English or equivalent
