Job Title: Technical Project Manager VP
Location: Canary Wharf, London
The Project Managers role is to be responsible for driving the inception, planning, and delivery of one or more projects as well as the engagement of GIS and GTIS stakeholders.
The project manager will be responsible for the day to day management of technology project(s) in support of the CRES and Global Corporate Security technology roadmap.
o Works with the Delivery Manger/Portfolio Managers to successful delivery of projects to plan, budget, quality and in compliance with Barclays project methodology standards.
o Drive and support the requirements gathering phases of projects to ensure that high quality requirements are available.
o Formulation of project artifacts as set out in Barclays project methodology standards, including “project terms of reference” and detailed “project plans”.
o Liaise with portfolio managers/work stream leads (as applicable) to ensure coordination of tasks across projects
o Project Management experience covering multiple full development lifecycles
o Project Management methodology certification (Prince II)
o Experience of Agile Methodologies, in particularly planning and executing Sprints, familiarity with Lean Control Processes
o Experience of project estimating techniques
o MS Project proficiency
o Strong presentation skills and good communication skills at a senior level
o Strong client liaison and problem solving skills
o Investment banking experience
o Working with regulatory milestones
o Strong Analytical and documentation skills
o Risk and Issue management techniques and experience
o Managing across geographically dispersed teams
o Strong Business knowledge
