The Student Governance team is looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant on a part-time basis (0.81 FTE / 30 Hours per Week) to support the work of its Administrators and Senior Officers. Do you have solid experience in an administrative role, excellent organisational skills, and an eye for detail?

Our aim as a department is to provide high quality, expert professional administrative services to enhance the student experience, to support academic staff and to work effectively alongside other professional services functions. The Student Governance team deals with student disciplinaries, fitness to practise, complaints and academic appeals, and provides support and advice to faculties within the University in connection with these procedures.

We need an Administrative Assistant to assist in our compliance with these procedures, by processing documentation, arranging meetings, liaising with staff and students by email and telephone , and monitoring systems and deadlines. Applicants must be able to work accurately, efficiently and to fixed timescales. The ability to manage their own workload, whilst providing dependable support to the wider team, is key.

You will also need excellent written and oral communication skills , and proficiency with MS Office.
