We have an opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join us in Milton Keynes. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for providing Payroll advice and expertise to internal and external customers, including acting as an escalation point for enquiries that cannot be resolved by the first line of contact.
The role also includes a variety of back office Payroll administrative support services. It is an exciting time to join a great team who are growing due to increased workloads and new projects.

As a Payroll Administrator your main responsibilities will be
Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
React to business demands and changes to fully support the business
Prioritise and plan tasks to meet deadlines and to meet departmental service standards/SLA’s
Maintain effective relationships across the business, working with other colleagues to ensure an efficient service to customers and key stakeholders, both internal and external
Ensure all legal, statutory and regulatory requirements are adhered to and keeps up to date with changes
Ensure customer records are updated accurately and in line with SLA
Minimum skills and experience required
Previous payroll processing knowledge is essential.
Must be able to calculate gross and net payroll manually
Knowledge of Payroll calculations such as Tax/National Insurance/SMP/SSP/Student Loan/Salary Sacrifice etc.
Ability to deal with complex Payroll related enquiries
A great team player with a customer centric approach
Be able to bring passion and embrace change
Salary is £20,000 - £25,000 basic
