Temporary Receptionist Payroll Clerk Cover Dunstable Distribution Centre Jobs Vacancy at Superdrug Stores Dunstable Jobs Details:

Outline of role We require a Receptionist/Payroll Clerk to cover holidays and absence. The required hours for the Reception role would be Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm and the Payroll Clerk would be Sunday – Friday with a rest day on Tuesday on AM shift or 9.00am – 5.00pm. The candidate would then work in their normal role when not required.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a Receptionist or Administration role and full training will be given.

Core Accountabilities for Reception:

 Meet and greet visitors
 Answer all incoming calls, directing them accordingly
 Support visitors when leaving building – signing out, book taxis etc
 Manage the conference booking system/on the day requests and food & beverage bookings
 Main contact for the conference centre, managing all queries and requests
 Dealing with the post and deliveries
 Ad hoc duties as requested

Core Accountabilities for Payroll Clerk:

 Input data into the time and attendance and Oracle payroll system weekly
 Liaise with site management team to address any time and attendance anomalies
 Recording, updating and processing holidays records
 Producing records and liaising with the People team to monitor both short-term and long-term absence
 Manage payroll queries, resolving and responding to employees in a timely manner
 Producing rota and running ad hoc reports

Person specification Skills Required:

Previous experience is not required but the successful applicant will need to possess the following skills:

 Customer focused
 Attention to detail is key
 Good PC skills (specifically word, excel, outlook)
 Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
 Flexibility is essential for this role
 Highly organised approach to work
 Ability to work within a team
 The ability to stay calm under pressure
