Our client forms part of a multi-national organisation specialises in supplying bank note and coin handling equipment. They are now seeking an experienced Workshop technician with strong electro/mechanical skills. Possibly a background in repairing printers, ATM,Games machines.
W orksh o p repair - Repair machines returned to the workshop by Customer or Engineer.
Test machines and supply reports on the machine repair to the service manager if required. Liaise with help desk/customers about the repair when required.
W areho u se - Cover for warehouse personnel, Issue stock as required, load and unload deliveries.
T echnical help - Provide technical help and training to Customers and Engineers when required
Set-up machines - Help with import of machinery from supplier and prepare and setup any new machine before delivery to the customer
You will have the use of company vehicle in order to perform mobile tasks as and when they arise.
Ski ll s required;
Mechanical /electrical / electronic engineering , skills
Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail).
Alpha-numeric skills, report writing ; Problem solving; Good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
Technical Training skills and PC software and hardware competency would be additional useful skills to have.
There may be a requirement to work some Saturdays on occasion.

Salary is up to £21,000
- 25 days annual leave
