Cygnet Hospital Beckton, a leading provider of mental health services to women are seeking to employ an experienced HR Assistant with a proven track record of providing friendly, effective and customer focussed HR support to staff and the Senior Management Team. This is a job share post working 30hrs per week over 4 days: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday with a 4th day on either a Monday or Tuesday.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role include but are not exclusive to: preparing and producing HR documentation and correspondence; co-ordinate recruitment & training: manage and maintain electronic personnel files for all staff; providing monthly HR compliance reports for governance meetings; managing events; contribute to arrangements of meetings; take notes at meetings; photocopying: filing and other general adhoc admin duties.

This is a part- time job share post working 30hrs per week over Wednesday, Thursday & Friday with 4th day either a Monday or Tuesday.

Salary is £18,700.00 per annum, along with subsides lunch, a pleasant working environment that is easily accessible by car or public transport.

Required Criteria –

1 or more years of experience working in a HR role (Preferably within a hospital environment). –

Intermediate software knowledge/skills (e.g. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook/e-mail program). –

Ability and willingness to demonstrate and maintain competency as required for job title. –

Excellent written and verbal communication. –

Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with principles for service excellence. –

Ability to handle detail, multiple tasks, and short notice deadlines. –

Ability to work with little or no supervision. –

Ability to manage conflict, work under pressure, and diffuse potentially stressful situations –

The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running
