Administrator Jobs Vacancy at Capita Plc Upavon Jobs Details:

As an Administrator, you will carry out administrative duties and quality control within the Rejoiner and Reserve Recruiting Divisions for the National Recruiting Centre.

You will be providing additional support to wider teams too, ensuring that departments are adhering to high-quality targets set by senior management. A large part of your role will be the creation of contracts on the internal Army system, so you will be a strong administrator with good attention to detail.

Capita Recruiting Partnering Project (RPP) is part of Capita plc, the UK's leading provider of business process management and integrated professional support service solutions, with offices throughout the UK, Europe, South Africa and India.

Since March 2012, Capita has been working with the Ministry of Defence (MOD) in a partnering arrangement with the armed forces to deliver recruitment services for the Army. The project represents a major investment in the transformation for military recruiting.

The contract covers the entire recruiting and selection process for both the Regular Army and the Reserves, and is helping transform the way the Army recruits its officers and soldiers.

This is a fixed-term contract opportunity based at the National Recruitment Centre in Upavon – the hub of all Army recruitment.

What you will do:

  • Administer eligibility checks for candidates

  • Treat all information in strict confidence and in line with the Data Protection Act

  • Liaise with candidates, internal personnel and external agencies

  • Send relevant information based on application outcomes

  • Have full understanding of eligibility criteria for all re-joiners and re-enlisters; giving consistent and accurate advice to all candidates

  • Give an excellent impression of the Army and RPP

Your experience will include:
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Clear communicator – on the telephone and in writing
  • Proven ability to prioritise and good attention to detail
  • IT Literate and good keyboard skills
  • Familiarity with the Army, possibly derived from a military background or family links desirable
  • Recruitment administration experience desirable
