As an IPC Instructor, you will be delivering outstanding teaching, learning and assessment practices that engage and inspire individuals to fulfil their potential and develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours to successfully progress within Electronic Systems.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to be involved in an important part of BAE Systems onsite growth, and we are looking for an instructor who is committed to developing its employees ensuring high levels of professionalism.
Your main responsibilities as an IPC Instructor will involve:
Delivering 13 week soldering and technical skills courses to inexperienced recruits helping them qualify as fully proficient at the relevant onsite IPC standards
Maintaining accurate records and keep the training centre as a centre of excellence.
Designing, developing and delivering training packages to meet the demands of new innovations in technology or equipment to meet business needs.
Delivering Soldering and Assembly Printed Circuit boards and Wiring workshops to employees in accordance with IPC-A- 610 & J-Std-001
Delivering ad hoc training support on ESD, Manual Handling and FOD to employees
Your skills and qualifications as an IPC Instructor will include:
IPC Certified Trainer (CIT) in IPC-A-610, IPC-J-Std-001, IPC 7711/7721 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 ideal, however (CIS) candidates willing to train would be considered.
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and Manual Handling qualified
Strong interpersonal and coaching skills
Fully competent on standard Microsoft office packages

Salary: £32,118 - £37,000
