Corporate Resilience Officer
£35,435 - £43,386 per annum, pro rota
14.8 hours a week (2 full days or 4 half days)
Have you ever considered how an organisation would need to act if a major disaster struck?
This role will work alongside our experienced Corporate Resilience Officer with the delivery of Emergency Planning and ensuring we are ready to respond to major emergencies and organising elements of our business continuity strategy. Depending on experience and qualifications it may also involve assisting with corporate health & safety matters.
You will need to have a professional qualification and excellent standard of knowledge in at least one of the following elements: emergency planning, business continuity or health & safety. The elements you take the lead for will be dependent upon which skills and qualifications you hold.
The role is based in Amersham with a requirement to sometimes attend external meetings in the area.
We are therefore seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who is able to learn new skills, work effectively with minimal supervision and meet agreed targets.
You will need to be organised, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with staff at all levels and present views positively. You therefore also need to be confident in using Microsoft Office and be able to interpret and record data accurately.
