Intelligence Coordinator Jobs Vacancy at Liverpool City Council Liverpool Jobs Details:
The role will be responsible for statutory school census returns and detailed data analysis with a specific focus on pupil characteristics, attendance and behavior. You will be the local authority's key contact for all school and service queries relating to school census, attendance and exclusions and you will provide excellent information and intelligences services to support the strategic direction and priorities of the Service.
To provide excellent data, information and intelligence services in respect of education, pupils and standards so as to support the continued drive for improving educational outcomes for children and young people.
To take a specific lead in relation to school census returns and the provision of data, information and intelligence services relating to behaviour and attendance.
To keep abreast of all education related statutory return requirements and guidance in order to provide comprehensive and sound advice to schools and other services.
To ensure that all education statutory returns are accurate and submitted on time
To be proactive in the identification and resolution of issues relating to pupil and school level data.
To analyse data for trends, strengths, weaknesses and forecasts, translating the data into intelligence reports in accordance with statutory requirements and the defined needs of the relevant service areas.
To share and obtain information from schools, external agencies and clients in a manner that meets local protocols and national GDPR requirements.
To work with colleagues to develop, disseminate and ensure adherence to team and corporate standards and best practice guidance and procedures in the following areas of work:
- Dealing with clients, data suppliers and colleagues
- Data quality control of systems used by the team
- Information request handling
- Information flow, sharing, archiving, retention and deletion
- Internal and External auditing
To use relevant system software and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, Access and SQL.
To support the development of integrated systems.
