OPPORTUNTIES FOR PART TIME ADULT COMMUNITY LEARNING TUTORS – LANDBASED AND CREATIVE PROGRAMMES

For the planned expansion of provision of adult and community education courses in 2018-19, tutors are needed across various subjects and locations – Exeter and Plymouth postcodes – to deliver accredited programmes and non-accredited workshops. These could be based at any of our campus sites or in the community, both daytime and evening provision.

Subjects planned will include, but not be limited to:

Floristry

Horticulture RHS

Gardening workshops

Willow Design

Garden Design

Photography

Cookery

Cake decorating

Sugarcraft

Fibrecraft

Embroidery

Soft furnishings

Dressmaking

Upholstery

Art & Design

Beadcraft

Jewellery making

Card making

Social media marketing for small businesses

For anyone wishing to use their specialist experience and enthusiasm to help us create an outstanding adult education provision and interested in supporting and encouraging adult students to fulfil their potential this could be an opportunity for you. You will be occupationally competent in one or more of the subject areas (or have one of your own you would like us to consider) and have experience of training, teaching or coaching others. The roles are on a part time contracted basis at grade CC37: £13.66 per hour plus preparation time.
