What you will do:

  • Support the use of the CIBS Risk Management Framework and Protiviti system across the business in accordance with Divisional and Group requirements. This includes training and guidance when required.

  • Support management with the development and maintenance of their Risk Registers (BU top down and departmental bottom up).
    • Assist management with the identification, analysis and evaluation of risks (workshops, interviews, questionnaires).

    • Challenge management on risks that have been recorded.

  • Where required by the client assist management with the development of a Controls Risk Self Assessment (CRSA) process.

  • Provider clear, pragmatic guidance and support to the business on regulatory issues.

    Your experience will include:

  • Solid experience in an operational risk or compliance environment.

  • Preferably knowledge of life & pensions, general insurance or financial services outsourcing markets, products and procedures.

  • Preferably knowledge of relevant financial services regulations, risk management frameworks and risk reporting

  • Preferably knowledge of business continuity, information security and financial crime requirements / practices.

  • Relevant financial services or risk qualifications.

  • Education to degree level desirable.

  • PC skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Good problem solving and analytical skills and an ability to make decisions.

  • Good organizational skills with ability to prioritise.

  • Strong communication (including report writing), challenging, investigative, influencing and presentational skills.
