Virocom are looking for a full-time role of Digital Marketing Assistant to assist a team in development and delivery of the company brand communications, particularly across digital media and other traditional formats.
Role and Responsibilities
Part 1 – Digital Support
Monitoring and managing social media channels, including Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google Business, Pinterest & Instagram.
The use of Hootsuite for timelines and scheduled content to ensure a consistent stream of signed off content for audience interaction whilst analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimise visits.
Working closely with strategic partners and vendors assists with large projects, physical collateral mail outs, marketing events, and community management.
Proof read content, including but not limited to social media posts, blog articles and press releases.
Help to increase conversion rates and ROI with regard to the above digital marketing channels.
Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content monthly through research of relevant themes / content.
Weekly updates on new follows and follow backs across all social media channels.
Distributes relevant data from the newsletter campaign reports to other departments and management.
Part 2 - Marketing Support
Monthly updates on marketing activity, trends, offers
Market/ Marketing metrics reports (Monthly, quarterly and annual reports)
Responsible for collateral posted online.
Responsible for Direct Marketing
Attend all marketing meetings where required and contribute to business decisions made
Detail analysing skills, for reporting, competitor research and creative content development
Working closely with the sales team and with co-workers to assist on campaigns and projects
Develop key relationships and partnerships with internal and external professionals
Maintain, report and analyse the performance of campaigns and suggest recommendations to increase performance
Part 3 – Appointment Creation
Creating customer appointments from email campaigns
Schedule and plan events to include attendee’s participation
Explaining the benefits of our services, e.g. outstanding customer service, and value for money.
Updating and maintaining the CRM with results of the research.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with solid foundation of English grammar
Strong working knowledge and interest of key social media channels such as Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google+
Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM, etc)
Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, enthusiastic attitude
A keen eye for detail and a critical mind
Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
The ability to use own initiative, listen to others and to work well as part of a team
A high level of self-motivation, commitment and dedication
Organisational and time management skills
The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop.)
Able to create strong relationships with professionals and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
Social Media Community Management, social monitoring, listening and publishing
Website content updates and SEO optimisation
Search engine marketing (including organic search, local search and keyword research)
Email marketing (including broadcast and new digital content triggered emails)
Relevant experience in marketing, data, client services
Experience with Photoshop and WordPress are essential
At least two years of previous marketing experience
