Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a highly skilled, experienced procurement professional to form part of the Trusts well developed and award winning procurement team. The role will encompass work across Salford but also Pennine Acute supporting procurement activities across the Northern Care Alliance.
You will need to have a strong drive to support the organisations groundbreaking procurement of the innovative development of a Control Centre designed to help build a vision for even better and more effective patient care. This role will be supporting all department on non-clinical activities which support the enablement of clinical care.
The role will build on the success it has achieved but also the future challenges facing NHS Procurement.
A key part of the role is influencing senior colleagues within the Trust to utilise the Procurement team, and to ensure that compliance and leverage is adhered to and delivered within the new Public Contracts Regulations.
You are required to have strong leadership qualities, including having tenacity to deliver quality improvement as well as cost reduction schemes across all divisions and corporate entities.
You will be required to provide team guidance, motivation, and inspiration to the team along with providing professional advice on all aspects of Procurement to stakeholders across all departments/divisions including Executive Board members and clinicians,
