Clinical Trials Associate (with honorary podiatrist contract)
Are you a registered podiatrist with an interest in research? Do you have experience working in a clinical academic environment? Have you experience in supporting NIHR Portfolio adopted clinical research?
This post will be responsible for all aspects of study support and monitoring for CRN portfolio studies conducted within the section. These studies are clinical trials, technical studies and observation studies. The post will be based at the Leeds Institute of Rheumatic & Musculoskeletal Medicine, Chapel Allerton Hospital, and may involve occasional travel to participating sites around the region. You will conduct trial monitoring and recruitment support as defined by the EU Clinical Trials Directive and Good Clinical Practice Guidelines.
As a Clinical Trial Associate you are expected to actively contribute to the set-up, conduct and closure of our in-house trials, from a trial monitoring, regulatory and logistics perspective. You will manage the monitoring of projects with a high degree of autonomy in terms of day to day decisions but will be expected to highlight any critical issues for further discussion with the Principal Investigator, Trial Coordinator, Sponsor and also liaise with our Trust partner R&I offices.
