SALARY: £35,000 - £42,000
This role is also eligible for other additional allowances to base salary.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability, while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.

As Electric Drive Unit Build Engineer, you’ll be responsible for supporting the planning, control and delivery engineering of all prototype Electric Drive Unit (EDU) projects to support Jaguar Land Rover’s growing vehicle portfolio. This will enable high quality and timely execution of product projects effectively and efficiently whilst maintaining and improving prototype Electric Drive Unit (EDU) build processes, issue management & issue resolution.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll need good knowledge of experience in powertrain driveline &/or transmissions (Powertrain Electrical). You'll have experience in the use of business improvement tools and techniques (5s, Lean, Kaizen etc), as well as having experience of quality problem resolution.

As well as having strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, you’ll be a team player with a robust and positive “Can Do Attitude”.

Ideally, you’ll be educated to HNC in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
