Admissions Assistant

Department of Marketing, Recruitment & Admissions (Admissions)
Salary: £20,400 - £22,440 dependent on skills, experience and qualifications
Hours: 35 per week
Contract type: Permanent

An interesting role based in a busy admissions office environment assisting the Admission’s team with providing customer service to potential students at all stages of the admissions process.

The role will involve the input and maintenance of application files throughout the admission process, responding to received applications, student queries regarding status of application, escorting visitors on educational visits on campus and to perform a range of general administrative duties including telephones calls, opening post, responding to e-mail, composing letters, diary management and arranging meetings.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of A-level education. Previous experience working in an administrative/customer service role is essential. The suitable candidate must be computer literate with the ability to remain highly organised and accurate while completing multiple tasks with minimal supervision and constant interruptions.
