Bioarchaeology Finance And Research Administrator Jobs Vacancy at University York York Jobs Details:
The Department of Archaeology seeks to appoint an experienced finance and research administrator to be embedded within its BioArCh research group. You will work closely with the BioArCh Director and Research and Impact Manager to provide effective administrative support and a financial accounting service for a close-knit group of academic and research staff, technicians and students based in the Environment Building on Heslington West. You will have experience of managing budgets, identifying the correct source of funds for charges, applying procurement rules and producing accurate and timely financial data. You will be able to ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of individual funders and other partners. You will be the first point of contact for BioArCh and have a track record of developing effective administrative procedures, working on your own initiative and contributing to operational decision-making. You will be able to demonstrate high levels of numeracy and IT skills and be an excellent communicator. Previous experience of managing research grant finances would be an advantage.
