Job Description We are seeking a client-facing Case Administrator to join the London CS team.
CS principally delivers Members’ Voluntary Liquidation (solvent liquidation) engagements for a broad range of clients across all sectors/industries, in the UK and overseas. These range from small dormant companies to large complex entities, partnerships, PLCs and Investment Trusts, and span one off engagements, multi-entity Legal Entity Rationalisation (LER) projects and wind downs. The team also provides pre-elimination advice to shareholders and directors and delivers capital reduction/strike off advisory engagements.
You will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the management group, dealing with research, pre-liquidation compliance and preparatory processes, statutory filing, advertising and notification requirements and day to day liquidation matters, including realising assets, obtaining tax clearances from HM Revenue & Customs and corresponding with creditors and shareholders.
The role is principally office based, but you may be required to work out at client sites.
Your main duties will include:
Overseeing a portfolio of liquidation engagements, working collaboratively with other team members and reporting to the management team
Researching and collating company/group information from a variety of sources
Carrying out pre appointment client acceptance checks
Producing well-presented and accurate standard documentation (including engagement letters, pre and post liquidation statutory forms and letters, cashiering vouchers, internal compliance reviews and time reporting schedules)
Using various systems and following procedures to ensure statutory and internal compliance matters are completed by requisite deadlines
Drafting responses to incoming correspondence (internal and external) and answering telephone calls
Assisting in the production of reports for shareholders
Maintaining electronic files and documentation in an orderly manner
Assisting with business development initiatives and other ad hoc tasks as required
We are seeking an individual who has:
At least two years insolvency sector (and ideally solvent liquidation) experience with the drive to progress and develop a career in Restructuring
The desire (in due course) to study for professional qualifications relevant to the role
The ability to produce accurate, clear, structured, well presented and concise written work with good spelling, a sound understanding of grammar and a keen attention to detail
Good time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to ensure that deadlines are met, manage multiple tasks with changing priorities/deadlines and remain focussed in the face of challenge
The ability to communicate clearly/concisely and work as part of a team
Experience in using Microsoft Word and Excel (experience in using SAP and IPS would also be beneficial)
