Get Planning and Architecture Ltd is an expanding integrated RIBA Chartered Practice and RTPI Chartered town planners based in Sutton, South London. We have an excellent reputation for architectural and planning work for mostly residential projects in and around London. We are a busy but friendly office with a team of 10, whose current projects are steadily increasing in volume so we require extra help across a range of work. We based in new high street offices, 50 metersfrom Sutton Mainline Rail station and with excellent public transport links to London and surrounding areas.
We are looking for enthusiastic, intelligent and creative new team members who might be currently working in a variety of roles within the Architectural/Planning arena. You may now want to continue to develop your skills on a large range of challenging and varied residential and commercial projects. You would enjoy using your skills to overcome technical and planning constraints. You could be an Architect, Architect/Planner, Planner, Architectural Assistant 2 and/or Architectural Technologist with 2- 5 years UK experience.
The practice believes in supporting all its colleagues, with additional training being offered to expand their expertise and scope of service provision.
The successful candidates will work to the RIBA and MRTPI codes of practice. The hours/days of work can be adjusted to suit the successful candidate(s) as we can offer flexible working which could be P/T or F/T. Salary is negotiable and subject to experience at RIBA suggested rates.
We do not expect all candidates to meet all the following criteria but would want a successful candidate to achieve a majority of them.
You must be fluent in both spoken and written English and the ability to write professional technical documents is highly desirable
Minimum 2 years experience in UK architectural/planning practice/local authority Competent at technical architectural design of buildings in the UK and/or planning skills with experience of Development Control aspects of applications in the UK
Ability to work on several projects concurrently. Proficiency in AutoCAD (REVIT being introduced) & IT in general Pro-active and positive disposition. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as your role will require you to liaise with clients/contractors/consultants on a day to day basis as well as our close knit team of 10. Good administration skills
