An exceptional and rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join the Cancer Services team based at the Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This position will bring together several key administrative functions into one highly efficient and highly organised service. Providing comprehensive administrative support to the senior nursing team in the Trust’s Cancer Service, the postholder will have a significant role to play in the ongoing development of these and will be at the forefront of service development.
You should be able to demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology (or the willingness to learn) and your IM&T skills should be exemplary.
Exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills are a prerequisite of this role and candidates wishing to apply should be confident in these areas.

All candidates are required to pay for their own DBS check where applicable. Standard DBS check costs £26 and will be recovered from the first months pay; Enhanced DBS check costs £44 and will be recovered over the first 2 months pay. (£22 per month)
Bank posts requiring a DBS check; payment must be made prior to commencing.
Apprentices are exempt from DBS payment.
