We are looking for a motivated, flexible and committed Support Officer to join our One Support team in Arlington House, Camden.
One Support is the housing, care and support arm of One Housing and is one of the largest and fastest growing providers of housing, care and support services across London and the South East. One Housing helps over 5,000 individuals in London and the South East to live safely and independently in quality accommodation.
This service aim is to improve quality of life of our customers, building confidence and skills to allow them to live independently while playing an active role in their communities. We view all our customers as individuals with specific needs, treating them with respect and dignity, and focusing on achieving real results.
We are looking for passionate individuals who have experience, skills and knowledge in support planning and risk assessment. You will be able to communicate effectively with a number of professional agencies on behalf of your customers and be responsible for coordinating a support package that will be delivered to customers, regularly reviewing and monitoring this to ensure it remains effective.
Experience of working with homelessness is preferred. You will be passionate about providing care and support to others.
You will have Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Care Quality Commission), or be working towards it.
This position will be 37.5 hours per week working on a rotational shift pattern that will include out of hours work where necessary and weekends. Due to the nature of this role successful applicants will require a DBS check prior to appointment.
