We have a fantastic opportunity for an Administrator to join the Metering Team in our Network Directorate. This is a busy and varied role working within a team of Metering Administrators who are responsible for supporting the entire metering process, from customer contact through to installation by our Surveyors and Contractors.
Water and smart energy meters are rising in popularity, so this is an exciting time to join the Metering team.

As a Metering Administrator, you will be passionate about ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service at all times. You will have excellent customer service skills, a positive and proactive attitude and excellent communication skills.
You will also need to be organised and have the ability to prioritise your workload effectively, as you will be responsible for scheduling customer appointments, planning the work of the metering surveyors, responding to customer enquiries and processing meter option payments.
Experience of using systems and attention to detail is also important, as all metering information must be kept up to date and accurate on our database.
As you can see, this is a varied and demanding role. We are looking for someone with a strong customer service background, who has experience of working in a high volume, fast paced administrative role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with good computer literacy.
