The post is for a term time (39 weeks) cook working 30 hours per week from 8am to 2.30pm.
Chart Wood School is a Day/Residential School for boys aged 11-16 years with emotional, behavioural and social problems. The school is split across two sites in Merstham and Reigate. This post is based in Reigate.
About the Role We require a cook to join our school in Reigate, providing appetising and nourishing meals for pupils and staff based on site.
The successful applicant will be:
- Confident in planning and producing meals for up to 30 daily covers.
- Capable of overseeing ordering, deliveries, preparation, cooking and cleaning down at the end of service.
- A well-motivated self-starter
- Reliable and flexible
- Have experience in a catering environment & knowledge of food standards/food hygiene is essential.
The post holder will report to, and be supported by the Catering Manager based at our Merstham campus.
