We now provide adult social care services alongside our established healthcare services, which has given us the chance to develop better, more joined up ways of working that deliver improved outcomes for the local community.
This is a new Consultant Neuroradiology post required to support and develop diagnostic Neuroradiology services based at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust (SRFT) in the face of increasing demand.
You will join a supportive and welcoming team of 13 Neuroradiology Consultants, including 4 contributing to neurovascular intervention.
There will also be a commitment to general neuroradiology workload including Consultant of the Session (COS) and on call. On-call is supported by a Radiology Specialty Trainee and there is the provision for remote imaging review. Overnight reporting is outsourced although a named Neuroradiologist is available for complex out of hours MR.
The job will include input into MDT meetings working with other colleagues. There will be the opportunity to develop sub-specialty interests within the field of neuroradiology depending on the aspirations of the applicant and the needs of the service.
Individual flexible working arrangements can be considered and we would encourage candidates to discuss directly with the Clinical Director for radiology.

You should hold a CCT or be within 6 months thereof. and have an enthusiastic attitude with an eagerness to advance imaging as part of multidisciplinary team working.
