An opportunity has arisen at St Albans for the position of Sales Team Leader . The successful candidate will have the opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge of GTR.

Duties include responsibility for the supervision of the Ticket Office and staff, ensuring adherence to cash regulations and security within these offices; ensuring staff provide a professional and competent service to customers, ensuring that all opportunities to maximise sales are met; immediate reporting of cash breaches, theft, missing monies or accounts.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable high standards of professionalism and customer service. Strong leadership, interpersonal, organisational and numeracy skills are essential.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following in their application:

  • Supervisory or team leader experience (or evidence of coaching/mentoring others).
  • Excellent standards of numeracy.
  • Knowledge of cash regulations.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Strong Customer Service skills.
  • Good standards in English, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
Previous experience of working in a sales environment would be advantageous.
