Now recruiting an organised and efficient administrator at Kings Cross
Our Administrative Support will be responsible for proactively booking rail replacement buses and incentifying alternative services for planned track closures. The role will track spend internally alongside compensation received from external bodies. You’ll provide administrative support for our busy train planning team in keeping our services running to plan. You’ll already be an experienced administrator with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
To succeed in this role, first and foremost, you’ll need fantastic written and verbal communication skills , and the ability to build relationships with internal managers and those who we share the access to our network with. High levels of proactivity and attention to detail will have been a part of the way that you work for many years. You’ll be an integral part of our Train Planning T eam , assisting with keeping our service resilient during planned changes. Knowledge or experience of the UK passenger rail industry is also highly beneficial but not essential .
Key roles and responsibilities
Organising replacement bus services for planned track closures
Tracking company spend on replacement services
Working proactively to ensure that requirements are met and information is accurate
Tracking compensation received from external bodies relating to replacement services
Reconciling spend and compensation to provide accurate cost reporting
Creating, updating and managing documents via Word, Excel, PowerPoint and bespoke systems.

This role will be based at Kings Cross East Side Offices , within Kings Cross mainline station.
