Are you a champion networker? Do you love building a bulging contacts book chock-full of high quality names? Does converting a lead into a fully fledged business relationship still give you a huge buzz? Then this role has your name all over it.
As our Leeds-based New Business Manager you'll work with our Growth Team to develop new business within retail and brand sectors. You'll work through the whole new business cycle, from managing the database, to creating appointments with new clients, as well as organising and following up on our new business development programme, spotting opportunities in the market which are a perfect match for us.
You'll be an evangelist for our "No Barriers" approach which crosses from advertising to apps, PR to POS. We work out the right thing to do and execute it in the spaces that will drive the maximum impact for our clients. You'll show commercial acumen, the ability to engage prospects in business-generating conversations, and have the attention to detail required to manage a chunky contact database.
You'll show us all the attributes of a great salesperson : warmth, an engaging personality and the ability to influence and win over others are a must. We'll also want to see persuasive verbal and written communication skills, great organisational skills and above all, a competitive will to win.
And while direct experience of marketing is ideal, we're open to talented candidates from other backgrounds who can show us a desire to learn and a sound commercial background in either agency or client organisations.
